Diallo v. City of New York (Bronx County)

Our client was standing on the steps of his apartment building in the wee hours of the morning. He was approached by several police officers who shot at our client 41 times striking him 19 times and causing his immediate death. On behalf of his family, we ultimately obtained a settlement which represented the largest award for this type of claim.

Gabbedian v. City of New York (Bronx County)

Our client was sitting on a park bench when the police officers arrived and conducted a sweep arrest. Our client questioned why he was being arrested and the officer struck him with his radio along the ear. Our client sustained severe damage to his inner ear. After trial, the jury awarded our client $3.2 million dollars for his damages.

K. A. v. City of New York (Bronx County)

Our client was walking along the street just a few yards away from his home. He was approached by several police officers who searched him and tossed him head first to the ground. Our client sustained severe facial injuries including a fracture. The police executed a search warrant on his phone. At the time of his arrest, our client had a small quantity of marijuana on his person. We sued for excessive force and received a substantial settlement on his behalf.
